documents namely Moneylenders Agreement (Section 27 of Moneylenders Act
1951), Hire-Purchase Agreement (Section 22 of Hire-Purchase Act 1967),
Power Of Attorney (Section 3 of Powers Of Attorney Act 1949) &
Memorandum Of Transfer/Sale & Purchase Agreement (Section 97 of Sabah Land Ordinance [Cap. 68])

Appointment of Commissioner For Oaths @ Section 14, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Honoured
to be appointed as a Commissioner For Oaths / Pesuruhjaya Sumpah (No. B494) by the Lord
President (Chief Justice of the Federal Court) from 1/11/2016 to
30/6/2018 so hopefully I stay on @ Section 14, Petaling Jaya till 65 years young.

Who can witness documents?
A Commissioner For Oaths has no power to attest / witness documents under the law (except 4 types of documents) but a Lawyer has the power to attest / witness any documents under 5th Schedule at subparagraph (a) of Solicitors' Remuneration Order 2006 ie. RM50 for first copy & RM10 for each subsequent copy

Who can certify documents?
A Commissioner For Oaths has no power to certify documents under the law
but a Lawyer has the power to certify documents under 5th Schedule at
subparagraph (n) of Solicitors' Remuneration (Amendment) Order 2016 not
exceeding RM25 for 1st certification & not exceeding RM10 each
subsequent certification of the same document
